Ok so I have pushed this blog to the wayside since our Crye baby has made it know he was on his way. I would say that I should combine the two blogs but Crye Baby is written to Coleman as journal that hopefully he will go back one day and read, where as this blog is more for me and my crafts and others things that go on in my life. Any who I am going to try and get better about updating both of my blogs on a more regular basis.
Now to the picture at the beginning of this post.... for those of you that know me I am not necessarily a Hogs fan which makes the picture all the funnier to me! Let's start with how I got in the Razorback shirt. While looking for Clinton a shirt to wear I came across this one and he said, "Oh you've got to get that and wear it, you have to do it for me, do you know how many UCA shirts I've worn...blah blah blah," so out of guilt I caved! Then Clinton and I proceed to go to our friends Drew and Carla's house to watch the game on Saturday, ok he watched and I chatted and played on my phone, well we pull up and there is this giant hog in the yard which just screamed photo opt. So at half time we went back outside so I could take the picture and send it to my mom and friends who would get a kick out of it! I do like the fact that you can see my growing belly pretty well!

Table Makeover
So I have more of my home decor "designing on a dime" type stuff to share with you! Late February Tori and I went garage sale shopping which turned into flea market shopping since there were only two garage sales in the whole town of Cabot, no kidding. Might I add I love flea market finds I just love getting a good deal and making it my own.
I found this table at Decorators Bazzar in Jacksonville for $25 and it was exactly what I was looking for to go in our living room.

Here is a top view and front view before.
Then here is the after view of the top and front! I am so excited about this table it turned out exactly how I wanted it to! With some help from Abbey, Timmy, and Tori this flea market find turned out fabulous. All we did was take some pages from a couple of French books, a French Reader's Digest and "ta da."
Here it is sitting below the "key wall," how fun is that?! Oh and in this picture you can also see the new living room/ hall color as well as our new red furniture.

Designing on a Dime!
(Above): How cute are these?! I took what you will see pictured below, cut out two maps (one of Ireland and one of Italy) from an atlas that I found at a flea market, and some Mod Podge and
ta duh cheap but super cute wall hangings for the "world/manly themed office"
(Below):This is the before. I had these wooden decor things from my bathroom a long time ago which I have no use for now so I decided to give them a new life and use them in the office.

Flip That House, the before!
Ok, well let me start off by saying that I am going to get better about blogging I feel like I have fallen way behind! So let me catch you up. In the last couple of months Clinton and I started our move from Conway to Cabot. By "starting" I mean we moved from Conway at the end of December but were not able to close on our house in Cabot until February 5th, therefore we stayed with his parents for about a month. I was blessed with great in-laws, however living with someone as a married couple is a challenge none the less. Clinton graduated in December and starting working full time for Crye Surveying, I am in my last semester to complete my B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences, and in the middle of all of this as soon as we moved in to our house we starting making it over and making it our own. On a side note I don't think that anyone I'm about to mention reads my blog but any who, I want to say a special thank you to our real estate agent and family friend Tammy Tompkins as well as Fayon Hayes and the people at Carroll Mortgage Group for helping us out so much and getting us into a house!!!!! :)
Now to the "Flip that House Part"
Like I said we starting working as soon as we moved in. There are no structural issue with the house but boy are/were there some cosmetic issues. Let me give you a few examples:Living room color before, yes it is really as green as it looks!
Another before view of the living room!
The kitchen before, this is when we went to go look at the house so this is the previous owners stuff.
Office before. Yet again this would be the previous owners stuff and as you can see there was one extreme to another GREEN in the living room and hall way then pretty much WHITE or the ever dreaded wall paper. lol
Master Bedroom before.
So that pretty much gives you the idea of what we were working with. So in the days to come I will start posting what we have done thus far.
